Character Sketches

I have made Character Sketches of the Characters to star in my film who have dialogues.

Kamran: Kamran Shahnawaz is playing the role of Kamran. He is 19 years old. He is skinny ,has a more ectomorphic physique and wears contact spectacles. He has short , curly hair. His pants are tucked in to give him a more geeky/nerdy look in the short film. In "Ragged 2wice" , Kamran faces difficulties while adapting to the first day at his college. He then wakes up in his mom's car and realises that he had been dreaming all along. Next , he finds the bully from his dream in real life.
In the film , Kamran has been shown as an innocent person. The face-cut of Kamran Shahnawaz motivated us to actually make him star him in Ragged 2wice and we thought that he would be the best actor to star Kamran in our film. He is shown shy , well mannered and low voiced in our film. He is also tensed about his first day at college throughout the short film. Kamran is about 5 feet 8 inches tall.







Bully Leader: The role of the Bully Leader is played by Uzair Sohail. He is the main antagonist in the film. He is about 5 feet 11 inches tall. and has a steady muscle mass. He is taller than Kamran which is generally a trait that bullies usually carry. He has already sprouted a full beard/clean shave while Kamran hasn't. This gives Uzair a more "stern" and "bully" look throughout the film. He is also 19 years old. His smile is clever and sinister which depicts that of bullies(when they think of ideas etc). He is shown as a naughty and a "leader" of his group throughout. In the film ,Uzair rags Kamran with his partners , he then meets the Kamran in the last scene of the film. He appears in the second , third and seventh scene of the film. He has two other partner bullies but in the film , he being the leader , does all the talking.







Principal: Ms.Humera Javed plays the role of the principal in our film.She is the third antagonist in our film. She is middle aged , female, and has a very strict personality in the film. She also possesses the commanding and stern personality that of Mr.Zaman. She has a formal attitude and personality throughout the film. She wears Pakistani Shalwar Kameez throughout the film. She appears in only the fifth scene of the film. She clearly does not have a liking for the students who break the rules and regulations of the college and is very strict in what punishments students are to be given if found guilty.







Mother: Fatmah Abdul Qayyum will be playing the role of Kamran's mother in our film. Female , 19 years of age. The reason that we chose Fatmah to play the role of the mother was that firstly , she knows how to drive well. Secondly , she is a perfect fit regarding the appearance and other aspects that a conventional mother needs to have. Although not important , since she will be appearing only in the first and the sixth scenes throughout the film, her height is 5 feet 1 inches. The very welcoming and positive aspect of Fatmah is that she has a very positive attitude towards acting and is cooperative just as well as our other characters are. She will be wearing the conventional Pakistani Shalwar Kameez , which is the national dress of our country. It is common for a Pakistani mother to drive and drop her children to school , which is why we chose the job to be done by a mother, rather than a father.








Teacher : Mr.S.B Zaman was suppose to act for us but due to last minute changes he was unable to act for us. We do not have a substitute at the moment but we will have one in the near future.
